THE EMPLOYER IS: ARMAGH OBSERVATORY & PLANETARIUMThe Digital Producer Assistant will support the production of planetarium shows, digital content, and immersive experiences. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career or returning to the field, who has a basic understanding of digital tools and a strong desire to learn and grow within the sector.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation and production of digital theatre and planetarium content.
  • Support video editing, 3D modelling, and animation tasks using tools such as Blender, DaVinci Resolve and similar.
  • Work with the Digital Theatre Producer to develop engaging full-dome and multimedia content.
  • Help set up, test, and maintain digital displays and interactive installations.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop new technical and creative skills.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input where appropriate.
  • Manage media files, project assets, and basic workflow organisation.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Canva, Photoshop or similar software experience.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, techniques, and workflows.
  • Teamworking.
  • Blender or similar modelling software experience.
  • DaVinci Resolve or similar video editing software experience.
