Job Title: HP Indigo 6K Operator - Digital Press Operator

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

About the Role

Our client is growing and looking for skilled Digital Press Operators to join the team in Manchester!

As an HP Indigo 6K Operator, you\'ll be responsible for running, maintaining, and calibrating our HP Indigo digital presses to ensure top-quality output and optimal machine performance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who\'s certified and experienced with HP Indigo technology and is ready to take the next step in a fast-paced and supportive print environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate HP Indigo digital presses (preferably 6K) to produce high-quality digital print work.
• Maintain and calibrate presses, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor color accuracy and print quality, making adjustments as needed.
• Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and organisation standards in the workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with production and scheduling teams.
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality control processes.

Qualifications

• HP Indigo Certification - Level 1 or higher (essential)
• Experience operating HP Indigo digital presses (preferably 6K)
• Strong eye for colour accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight production deadlines
• A proactive attitude toward safety, cleanliness, and organisation in the workspace
• Good understanding of general maintenance and press troubleshooting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with MIS software
• Previous experience working in a high-volume digital print environment
