• Deliver against targets & KPIs for key business objectives.
• Manage print department orderbook and production processes.
• Ensure correct printer setup for relevant artwork.
• Maintain equipment accuracy and perform preventive maintenance.
• Assess quality of production runs for customer specifications.
• Participate in weekly team meetings on production issues.

Job Title: Digital Print Operator

Salary: 28,000 to 32,000k
Role Type: Permanent - office based
Location: Thirsk region
Hours: 40 hours per week, Flexible between 3-5 days for the right person.

Key Responsibilities - Digital Print Operator

• Deliver against clearly defined targets & KPI's against the key business objectives.
• Manage the print department orderbook, including all aspects from graphics, sampling and finished product.
• Ensure printers are set correctly for relevant artwork, ready for printing.
• Manage all production processes noting all jobs completed and ensuring systems are updated for dispatch and invoicing
• Manage all stock relevant to the print department, liaising with the Purchasing Manager to place orders in line with future stock consumption.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of all equipment in the print room, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assess quality of all production runs for customer requirements and specifications
• Participate in weekly team meetings, to update the business on any issues/stock outs/QC/training requirements.

Desirable Skills - Digital Print Lead

• Attention to detail and the ability to identify and develop digital and other graphic solutions
• Experience in working with Adobe Illustrator
• Previous experience in Vinyl Wrapping, Graphic Design or Artwork
• Knowledge of Mimaki UJF digital printers or similar
• Leadership or previous responsibility in managing a Print/Production set up
