We’re looking for a talented, passionate Digital Marketing Executive to join Raith Rovers Football Club in a full-time role.
You’ll play a key part in growing our brand visibility, deepening fan engagement, and driving commercial performance across our digital channels.
The ideal candidate is a football fan with strong hands-on digital marketing experience, plus a creative, experimental mindset - someone who’s keen to test, learn, and continuously improve.
What the job entails
- Plan and deliver digital marketing strategies that grows brand awareness, boosts fan engagement, and drives commercial results across ticketing, retail, hospitality, and other club initiatives
- Create and publish high-quality engaging content across key channels (social media, club website, email/CRM), maintaining a consistent tone of voice and brand standards.
- Own day-to-day community management, responding to comments, messages and enquiries across all platforms in a timely, professional and on‑brand manner.
- Coordinate and support a volunteer network (e.g., RaithTV, photographers, matchday contributors, social media support), ensuring clear briefs, smooth collaboration and consistent output quality.
- Measure and report on performance, tracking key metrics including engagement, reach, website traffic, email performance, ticketing conversions and retail sales, and using insights to optimise future campaigns.
- Identify content and commercial opportunities by staying current with industry news, social media trends, football culture, and platform updates.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in a digital marketing role, ideally in sport.
- Strong understanding of core digital channels, especially social media platforms, and how to tailor content to each.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear ability to produce engaging, accurate and on‑brand copy.
- Confident using digital tools such as social media management platforms, email marketing software and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong analytical capability - comfortable interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data‑led decisions.
- A creative, proactive mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and deliver campaigns that cut through.
- Genuine interest in football and supporter culture, with an understanding of fan behaviour and what drives engagement.
- Organised and reliable: able to juggle multiple priorities, work to deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Role details
- Full‑time: 40 hours per week
- Matchday cover required: you’ll be expected to work on matchdays and attend home and away fixtures as needed
- Salary: competitive (dependent on experience)
