We're looking for a Digital Engineering Apprentice to join our team in our offices at Bromsgrove in Worcestershire. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to help us deliver retirement living schemes. This role will be on a multi-disciplinary basis and has an Architectural and Structural design bias.
You will learn the digital skills used to develop our planning application and technical project designs, creating Sketchup and AutoCAD models/drawings, working with building engineering data, all while collaborating with a team of Churchill Retirement Living’s Design and Construction professionals. Below is a list of some of the activities you can expect to be doing when you join our team:
You’ll gain experience of working in the three benn core areas of design in the business on rotation during the first year. These being:
During these years there will be the opportunity to specialise in two of the areas rotated during the first year.
Exposure and overview understanding will be provided throughout the apprenticeship to aid with studies and to enhance collaborative working practice.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll have access to our multi‑disciplinary approach to design and construction. You’ll also be able to learn through webinar training and have the opportunity to receive knowledge and understanding of wider construction disciplines, providing a respect and appreciation for this enriching and diverse industry.
