We are recruiting on behalf of an alternative education provider in Standford for a Digital Enablement Tutor to join their education team on a permanent basis. This role focuses on supporting adult learners to develop essential digital skills, build confidence using technology, and improve employability and progression outcomes. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, practical digital skills sessions and play a key role in promoting digital inclusion within an alternative provision setting.

The Role
  • Deliver digital enablement and IT skills sessions to adult learners.
  • Support learners to develop confidence in using technology for everyday, education, and employability purposes.
  • Teach core digital skills such as email, online safety, basic applications, and digital communication.
  • Support learners working towards digital or functional IT qualifications.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, learner‑centred sessions tailored to individual needs.
  • Track learner progress, attendance, and achievement.
  • Contribute to digital engagement and innovation initiatives within the provision.
  • Create an inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
  • Work closely with education, support, and pastoral teams.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards are met.
