A leading audio solutions provider in Greater London is seeking a Digital Department Technician to maintain and specify digital audio systems. The role involves testing, deploying digital equipment, and collaborating with engineers to ensure cohesive delivery. Candidates should have strong experience in digital audio control systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and be proactive in keeping up with emerging technologies. A full UK driving licence is essential for the role.
For over 50 years, Autograph Sound has been a leading supplier of audio and communication solutions for theatre and events in the UK and worldwide. We are passionate about quality and reliability and our diverse team of designers, engineers and technicians blend creativity with cutting edge technology to deliver solutions that sound stunning every time. From musical and arena productions to corporate events and product launches, our attention to detail and demand for the highest levels of quality remain at the heart of every event irrespective of size and complexity.
We require a motivated individual to join an existing but adapting department, soon to move from Kentish Town to be set up in our new home of Perivale. The applicant will be responsible for the maintenance, installation and specification of digital audio and control systems. The department deals with a variety of digital equipment from computers and digital mixing consoles to network-based audio transport systems, communications systems and radio systems. We collaborate closely with other departments within the company and with external Sound Designers and Production Sound Engineers.
The department has grown out of a need to supply and support the increasing need for digital equipment within the sound industry and offers the opportunity to develop an understanding of many varied technologies. Developing skills is an important part of this role and Autograph will support the successful applicant in doing this either with in house or external training where necessary.
