This role supports the council's high-profile 'Making it Happen' campaign, showcasing frontline services and the people behind them.

The Role

You will play a key part in bringing the 'Making it Happen' campaign to life through compelling short-form video content. Working closely with the Communications and Campaigns team, you will plan, film, edit and publish story-led videos that highlight real services and demonstrate how the council delivers for its residents.

Across ten weekly themes - including street cleaning and recycling, parks and leisure, community safety, new and improved homes, and support for children, young people and local businesses - you will transform briefs into engaging narratives. You will ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign messaging and accessibility standards. You will also monitor performance and recommend improvements to help achieve campaign goals.
