A well-established defence company in the UK is seeking a High Speed Digital and Hardware Design Lead to take on the electronics design and development of high-speed solutions. This role involves collaboration across engineering teams to specify optimized solutions that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in high-speed digital electronics, MPSoC FPGA expertise, and proficiency in programming languages for testing. Excellent salary and hybrid working conditions are offered.
Salary: Circa £58,000-£65,000 plus annual bonuses
Locations: Stevenage or Bristol (relocation package available)
Hybrid working: 3-4 days per week on-site or less, depending upon project requirements

You will be responsible for the electronics design and development of high‑speed MPSoC FPGA and AI hardware solutions targeting SDR, radar signal processing and sensor fusion applications.
Work across multidisciplinary engineering teams to support the Technical Lead/Architect in specifying elegant and optimised solutions that satisfy customer needs.
Focus on the detailed design of high‑speed digital aspects, as well as participating in other electronics design activities throughout the full product development lifecycle.
