Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join their dynamic team focusing on Tier 3 Specialist Weight Management. Qualifications

Job description
Overview

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join our dynamic team within Tier 3 Specialist Weight Management. The post holder will work within a multi‑disciplinary team to assess and provide high‑quality dietetic care to obese patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and provide evidence‑based dietetic care to obese patients, including those considered for referral to the Tier 4 Bariatric Surgery Service.
  • Work alongside a range of specialists as part of an MDT approach, contributing to the assessment and treatment of patients.
  • Manage a busy caseload, ensuring all patients receive adequate support and have their needs met.
  • Provide clinical supervision to other team members as required.
Qualifications
  • HCPC registered dietitian with relevant post‑registration dietetic experience.
  • Experience working within a weight‑management service is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of the complex needs of obese individuals and a commitment to evidence‑based practice, education and behaviour change techniques.
  • Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
Location

Marfleet Health Centre, Hull. The successful applicant will also be expected to work from various other bases across Hull and East Riding.
