We are looking for an admin assistant to join our small and friendly team in the Dietetics, Speech & Language Therapy Department. The days of the week we require cover are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays working 8am to 4pm. The role involves indirect interaction with patients by telephone, booking appointments and outcoming of clinics and working with the three other members of the admin team. We are based in Minerva House which is on the SGH site in Tremona Road.

Due to the nature of this role and service, this role is on-site and the hours are as advertised.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • To provide an excellent customer service to patients, relatives/carers and to external agencies.
  • Ensure a consistent and effective administrative service is maintained at all times.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • You will have experience of working in a customer services environment.
  • You will have a friendly and approachable manner.
  • You will be polite, sympathetic and diplomatic and have a can do attitude.
  • You will provide excellent customer service to patients, relatives/carers and to external agencies, this will include communication that is face to face, over the telephone and through written correspondence.
  • You will provide comprehensive administration services and have high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You will have high standards of accuracy with attention to detail.
  • You will have ability to communicate over the telephone and in person.
  • You will have competent IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • You will be able to work independently but also be a good team player.

We are looking for someone to join our team working Monday to Wednesday each week from 8am to 4pm.
