Overview

All EWP Solutions is a family owned and operated company based in Welshpool. Our business is associated with the provision of truck mounted EWPs which are predominantly involved with tree lopping on the Western Power network. We also have a fleet of truck mounted EWPs available for hire.

We are seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to fill a full‑time position based at our Welshpool workshop. We have a variety of vehicles and plant in our fleet, comprising of trucks (mounted with EWPs), tip trucks, light vehicles and wood chippers.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing of trucks, light vehicles and towed plant
  • Repairs and maintenance of vehicles and plant
  • Assisting with EWP rebuilds, inspections and repairs
Qualifications
  • The holder of a current truck licence
  • Physically fit and healthy
  • Safety conscious with a commitment to work safety
  • Motivated with a positive attitude
  • Able to follow instructions and show initiative
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Able to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screen (at commencement and randomly)
Desirable Qualifications
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • EWP Licence
  • White card

The successful applicant will be subject to a probation period of up to 4 weeks, after which the position and direction of your employment will be reviewed.

The position is for a 40 hour week with the opportunity of overtime.
