Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Mechanic within a well-respected reputable Automotive Workshop, located in Wellington.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

  • Overtime at time and a half, available regularly

Duties
  • Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
  • MOT Testing
  • Replacing cambelts and performing gearbox repairs
  • Mentoring Apprentices enabling them to develop their skills, within the Workshop.
  • Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards.
Requirements
  • A Fully Qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Dedicated and committed approach.
  • Your job will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
  • Your own Vehicle Technician tools
  • The salary of this role is up to £37,000 basic.

Hours of work in this Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role are a 40-hour week, with a half-day on Saturdays.
