About the Role

MOTRR (Part of the Collide Technical Group) are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join their busy workshop. This role is ideal for a vehicle technician, service technician, auto-mechanic, or mechanic looking to develop their diagnostic expertise and take the next step in their career.

Diagnostic Technician Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out vehicle diagnostics and identify mechanical and electrical faults
  • Repair and service vehicles to a high standard
  • Use diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out
  • Liaise with customers and provide excellent service

Diagnostic Technician Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds) or equivalent
  • Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanic, or in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Quick learner with a passion for vehicle technology
