A leading orthopaedic hospital in Gobowen is seeking a part-time Dexa/Metabolic Booking Co-ordinator to manage patient appointments and assist with administrative tasks. The role requires excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. This permanent position offers a salary ranging from £24,071 to £25,674 per annum pro rata, along with opportunities for professional development and training.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our DEXA and Metabolic Medicine booking team at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to join our growing DEXA service at RJAH. RJAH is a lead provider for DEXA for a large catchment area and in Autumn/Winter 2024 our service will be expanding with an additional DEXA scanner giving the service two scanners.
The role will predominantly consist of a booking clerk role for the DEXA Team but the ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly across the services.
The successful applicant will have the ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment working within a multi-disciplinary team, and will be able to multitask and prioritise their workload.
To ensure that patients appointments are booked according to the Consultants protocols and booking policies and procedures. Enquiries from patients and others are dealt with politely. That medical case notes are available as required throughout the hospital.
Working relationships with: Other HCR staff, Medical and nursing staff, X Ray, Pre op staff, Records staff at other Hospitals, GP Practices.
