As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a vital role in building and maintaining the infrastructure behind mission-critical systems, ensuring they remain reliable, scalable, and secure. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimise infrastructure solutions that underpin some of the UK's most important systems. You will take ownership of automating processes, ensuring system reliability, and contributing to continuous delivery pipelines. Working closely with developers and testers, you will troubleshoot issues, validate configurations, and enhance deployment workflows. You will also help assure quality across applications and infrastructure, using Infrastructure as Code practices to deliver scalable, secure environments. Collaboration is central to this role, and you will participate in agile ceremonies to plan and prioritise work, ensuring solutions are delivered effectively and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Build & Automate: Design and maintain infrastructure systems using DevOps best practices.
• Enhance & Secure: Implement Infrastructure as Code and ensure environments meet security standards.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve: Collaborate with teams to identify and fix technical issues efficiently.
• Assure & Deliver: Support quality assurance and deployment into Kubernetes and Puppet environments.
• Collaborate & Adapt: Participate in agile processes to prioritise and deliver high-impact solutions.
