Help Shape the Future of Housing Development at Anchor – Join Us as a Development Process Analyst!

We’re proud to be England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for older people. Every new development we deliver and every process we refine helps us provide more homes, more opportunities for colleagues, and better experiences for our residents across the country.

That’s why we’re looking for a data driven, people focused Development Process Analyst to join our Performance & Insights Team. If you’re passionate about improving housing outcomes, service improvement, and turning data into meaningful change, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

What does it mean to be a Development Process Analyst at Anchor?

  • Lead the Way in Continuous Improvement : You’ll be the departments champion for designing smarter, more efficient and customer-centred processes. Applying methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma and process mapping tools such as Visio or Lucidchart, you’ll evaluate how we work and how we can improve.
  • Bring Processes to Life Through Collaboration : You’ll run workshops, process reviews and engagement sessions with teams across Development, Sales, Finance, Compliance and other key departments. Through clear mapping, documentation and guidance, you’ll turn insight into practical, achievable improvements.
  • Automation of Processes : Working with colleagues in Performance & Insight, you’ll find ways to simplify and automate manual processes to strengthen our programme delivery.
  • Connect People, Systems and Information : You’ll play a crucial role in linking teams together — supporting automation, improving consistency, and ensuring our processes and documentation run smoothly through the entire development cycle. Strong relationships and confident communication will be essential.
What you’ll need :
  • Experience of housing association or development department processes.
  • Knowledge of service improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, ADKAR would be desirable) ideally in a housing, social care or property development.
  • Previous experience working with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart or other).
  • Experience in process redesign, mapping and benefits realisation.
  • Excellent communication skills – with the ability to understand complex technical language and transform these in to clear processes.
  • An analytic workstyle, you can easily spot areas for improvement, and draw meaningful conclusions that help improve our processes and compliance.
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for improving how people work.
