Job description
Overview

ACR are working in conjunction with an innovative and successful Developer who have a very exciting opening for Development Manager to be based in their Hertfordshire region.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure strategic land opportunities suitable for residential development within the project.
  • Maximise land value through planning promotion, design optimisation, and infrastructure phasing strategies.
  • Lead or support the structuring and execution of joint venture partnerships, with both private developers and public sector organisations.
  • Oversee and coordinate planning applications for residential and mixed-use schemes, from pre-application through to determination including Section 106.
  • Manage and coordinate infrastructure sectional agreements (S38, S104, S185, S278) in partnership with legal and technical teams.
  • Lead the delivery of infrastructure works, including roads, drainage, utilities, and public open space, to ensure timely and cost-effective servicing of land.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Real Estate, Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field (desirable)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Commercial and strategic thinker with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent project management and organisational ability
  • The ability to effectively negotiate, motivate and communicate in order to influence others to ensure that the required programmes are met
  • A proven track record in residential development with emphasis on buying and selling serviced land parcels
