Job Overview

Developer Full‑Stack .NET – Hybrid role in Bath, UK. Full‑time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week with 2 days in the office (Wed & Thurs) and 3 days remote. Posted 11 days ago. About the Role

The Developer Full‑Stack .NET will report to the Development Team Manager and work closely with a team of 10 developers. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing various features and components of our web‑based SaaS products, including Equisoft Transfer, Pay, Trade, and Pension Fusion. The role offers opportunities for growth into architecture, product design or technical leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new functionalities and enhance application architecture for our SaaS products.
  • Write high‑performance, secure, and robust code primarily using .NET and C#, while also working with JavaScript front‑end and SQL Server.
  • Conduct unit testing with a test‑driven development approach and collaborate with the Test team to ensure quality.
  • Submit code for peer review and actively review colleagues’ code to maintain high standards.
  • Participate in agile meetings (daily stand‑up, retrospective, etc.) and contribute ideas and feedback.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of industry experience as a developer.
  • Strong knowledge of C# and .NET with a solid grasp of object‑oriented principles.
  • Comfortable working across the stack including front‑end JavaScript and SQL Server.
  • Experience collaborating in small, cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Enthusiastic about software development, continuous learning, and improvement.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and consideration for end‑user interactions.
  • Initiative, organization, prioritization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapid‑paced environment.
  • Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline.
Nice to Haves
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Entity Framework (Core).
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as EXTJS, React, Angular, or others.
  • Knowledge of SQL, specifically SQL Server.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Interest in financial markets and/or personal finance.
