Detention Custody Officer - Heathrow Airport

Working as a DCO within our team will provide you with the opportunity to maintain high standards of security and safety whilst promoting the welfare and decency of residents. This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. As you gain experience within this challenging role, we\'ll support you throughout your time to grow and develop. Your new role as a vehicle base DCO will be to escort and safely transport immigration residents across the UK and may also include working at local Airports.

You must be over 21 years of age and have held a UK car manual driving licence for one year and a valid UK passport or settled status and indefinite leave to remain. If you do not possess both these documents then we will not proceed with your application.

Salary and shift pattern

• Vehicle Base Salary: £32,635.00 based on 42 hours per week, fixed shift pattern.
• Full flexibility required as this is a 24-hour service, 365 days a year. Rolling shift pattern will cover both days and nights.

Training and development

Training is provided after selection and vetting. You\'ll begin your Care & Custody career with a 4/5-week initial training course (ITC), continuing development over the next 12 months with on-the-job mentoring and assessments to gain an accredited Level 3 apprenticeship in Detention and Custody.
