Detailer - Structural Steel / Metalwork

Location: London

Salary: £35,000 - £58,000 (Depending on experience)

We are working with a growing and dynamic design team in the London area who are looking to expand their capabilities with the addition of a Detailer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in structural and architectural metalwork detailing using Tekla Structures.

The Role

As a Detailer, you will play a key role in producing accurate 3D models and drawings for structural steel and architectural metalwork projects. You'll work closely with experienced designers and engineers, gaining exposure to a variety of projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in producing 3D models using Tekla Structures
• Generate fabrication and GA drawings for structural steel and metalwork
• Collaborate with the internal design and project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery
• Support senior detailers and engineers with ongoing project requirements
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

• Ideally 3+ year of experience using Tekla Structures
• A qualification in engineering, design, or a related field is beneficial
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Previous experience in structural or metalwork detailing is desirable but not essential
