A creative design agency in Manchester seeks an adaptable designer with 3+ years of experience. You will translate strategic briefs into exceptional retail experiences while collaborating with strategy and client teams. Strong skills in Figma and Photoshop are essential, along with a keen eye for visual detail and high attention to quality. This role offers a remote-first work culture with generous holiday and wellness benefits.
We’re part strategic consultancy, part design agency. We shape the strategy and create the work that consumers see and experience.
We’re proud to be fiercely independent, working with brands we believe in and building our company around the things that energise us. That means meaningful collaboration, genuine empowerment, and the ability to move with pace and flexibility for our clients.
We’re looking for designers who want to make their mark. People who thrive in environments that aren’t overly neat or tightly prescribed. Those who embrace ownership, enjoy variety, and feel energised by the opportunity to shape both the work and the way we work.
We are on the hunt for an adaptable, do-it-all designer with a keen eye for visual detail. As a designer you will work closely with design leadership, strategy and client teams to concept and design exceptional retail experiences.
In this role you will work across a number of small to medium scale projects simultaneously, whilst designing across different mediums, including digital, web and print.
You will be responsible for:
Translating strategic briefs into clear, distinctive, and well-crafted creative work.
Developing visual concepts for campaigns, brand moments, and digital content.
Designing intuitive, accessible, user‑centred digital experiences.
Creating assets for use across multiple platforms and environments, both digital and physical.
Evolving brand expression through typography, colour, composition, and visual systems.
Contributing to playbooks that define how creative should be used and scaled globally.
Making strong design decisions while balancing brand and business goals.
Working closely with strategy, product, and creative partners from concept through delivery.
Presenting work clearly and confidently to internal teams and client stakeholders.
Participating in structured feedback cycles, iterating quickly and thoughtfully.
Taking ownership of QA to ensure work is accurate, polished, and ready for launch.
You’ll be a strong fit if you have 3+ years of relevant experience and bring a blend of the following:
A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visuals across product and brand design.
Strong with Figma and Photoshop, with curiosity around emerging AI‑enabled design tools.
Strong foundational knowledge of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
High attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
Creative curiosity and the desire to push ideas further.
Comfortable with pace, ambiguity, and multi‑disciplinary collaboration.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate rationale and listen actively.
A strategic, problem‑solving mindset that connects design to broader business aims.
A willingness to continuously evolve your craft, tools, and ways of working.
Remote first, with regular opportunities to collaborate in‑person as a team
25 holiday days, in addition to bank holidays
Regular team‑wide get‑togethers
Up to 20 days of overseas working per year
Company pension with 4% employer contribution
2 paid volunteer activities per calendar year (weigh in with passions and ideas!), and charitable donation matching
An annual well‑being budget to use on general physical and mental wellness as employees see fit
