Teacher of Design Technology Blackpool
Full-time role from September 2025 Full academic year

Vision for Education is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Design Technology for a long-term role starting in September 2025 in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a forward-thinking secondary school that places a strong emphasis on creativity and practical learning.

The Role

We are recruiting for a Teacher of Design Technology to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school ideally seeks a specialist in Resistant Materials, although applications from teachers with alternative DT specialisms such as Product Design, Graphics, or Textiles are also welcomed.
This full-time role in Blackpool is to start in September 2025 and will run for the full academic year. You will be joining a well-resourced department with excellent support and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students progress and creativity.

The successful Teacher of Design Technology will:

  • Have QTS/QTLS and experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools.

  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for practical learning.

  • Be able to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.

  • Possess strong behaviour management and organisational skills.
