Job Description

Reporting directly to the Technical Director for Design Management, you will lead and manage Tetra Tech design consultants and design subconsultants inputs on projects. You will primarily be delivering projects within the Midlands and Southern region as well as the wider UK Engineering teams. In your role, with support from the Design Manager, you will liaise with the project controls team to manage the commercial aspects of the design and align design risks with commercial outcomes. You will lead on technical risk management and mitigations for the client and will be working on large, multi disciplinary projects in the defence, science, nuclear and government property sectors.

• Assists the Design Manager and bid/project teams where support is being provided for a bid process andidentify and coordinate the multi-disciplinary design team inputs to the bid process.
• Provide assistance in formulating fee proposals and proposal documents as required by the Design Manager and project/bid team.
• Ensure compliance at project opportunity outset with the Tetra Tech Project Lifecycle governance process
• Develop and manage the Project Execution Plan in conjunction with design discipline leads, including design deliverables and programme
