Job summary

A leading consultancy in engineering in the UK is seeking a Design Manager Buildings to join their Maritime & Defence team. This role offers a variety of projects and career development opportunities. Experience required…

Essential
  • Batchelor’s degree in architecture or engineering
  • Experience in the design and construction of major new industrial buildings with multifunctionality – workshops, storage and offices.
  • Security clearance
  • Experience working in the defence sector.
  • Experience in stake holder management.
  • Knowledge of HSE requirements
  • Experience in the management of multidisciplinary design elements of buildings and ensuring designer technical performance.
Desirable Experience
  • Preferred Chartered architect or engineer registered with the appropriate body.
  • Beneficial to have experience on high hazard facilities in the nuclear sector or hospitals such as X-Ray facilities.
  • Technical experience in managing facility upgrades or construction projects.
