A healthcare organization is seeking experienced Design & Construction Project Managers to oversee major capital projects for a new hospital in Ascot. Responsibilities include managing design teams, ensuring compliance, and leading project delivery across multiple interdependent projects. The ideal candidates will have substantial experience in healthcare capital projects and possess strong financial and leadership skills. We are seeking experienced Design & Construction Project Managers to join the Design & Construction workstream for the New FPH Programme. Each role plays a vital part in delivering major capital projects for the new hospital and wider estate.

Lead the design and delivery of the new hospital, managing the consultant design team, coordinating clinical and technical design development, and ensuring alignment with programme, budget and Building Safety Act requirements. As the project progresses into contractor‑led design and construction, you will act as the client lead—overseeing compliance, programme, change and quality management.
Manage all capital projects outside the new hospital, including the Heatherwood expansion and retained FPH estate. Lead design coordination, stakeholder engagement, operational continuity planning and programme alignment across multiple interdependent projects. Supporting procurement development through pre‑construction and construction phases.
Lead the delivery of all enabling works required for the new hospital, including complex planning applications and major infrastructure components such as the new mains power supply. Manage design development, planning obligations (including s106 and s278), budget control and procurement, working closely with the NHPM to maintain alignment on programme‑critical activities.
To manage, develop and implement the Trusts strategic estates strategy via a planned and programmed evaluation of capital development works with Directors, local healthcare service providers and primary care partners.
To communicate and negotiate technical information at a senior level and provide professional advice and reports to the executive, Trust Board and Chief Executive, as required.
To be responsible for the New Hospital Programme estates construction, building and operations policies.
