An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Priestners Unit-8 bedded female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. Priestner's Unit is one of five wards at our state of the art, purpose built Atherleigh Park Hospital in Leigh. Priestner's Unit provides support to female adults of working age experiencing severe mental health illness and offers assessment, treatment and support to service users within the GM footprint who may be experiencing severe mental health difficulties for a range of illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression and anxiety.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate individuals who have a positive attitude towards mental health and promoting recovery, have an understanding of positive behavioural support, are committed to delivering person centred and trauma informed care and want to support working age adults in their recovery.
