We now have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our Bromley service. This role is ideal for a confident, people-centred leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about high-quality, recovery-focused care. As Bromley’s Deputy Service Manager, you will support the leadership and operational delivery of our Bromley service. Your role will include:

Responsibilities
  • Line management of Team Leaders, including supervision, development and performance oversight.
  • Inspiring a culture of hope, empowerment and opportunity for the people we support.
  • Working with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure safe and consistent safeguarding practice.
  • Supporting staff through observed practice and values-based feedback.
  • Working with Clinical and Frontline teams to maintain safe, effective pathways and evidence-based interventions.
  • Lead and coordinate regular audits, quality checks and performance monitoring.
  • Support incident reporting, learning reviews and updates to the service risk register.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, NICE/OHID guidance and CGL policies.
  • Assist with the Service Quality Improvement Plan to ensure a safe, high-performing service.

Qualifications
  • Experience leading or developing health or social care services.
  • Strong people leadership skills, able to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence working with governance, safeguarding or quality processes.
  • A values-led, person-centred approach. Proven experience of ability to effectively resolve conflicts to maintain positive working relationships and service delivery.
