An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Lead Hospital Pharmacist/Deputy Pharmacy Manager to join an exceptional private hospital in Kent, affiliated with one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This facility, the largest independent hospital in Kent, boasts state-of-the-art imaging, diagnostic, and operating environments, supported by innovative technology for a broad spectrum of specialist services, ensuring prompt, safe, and quality care.

Qualifications

To be considered, you must be a qualified Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC).

Responsibilities
  • Lead in medication safety, presenting monthly seminars to clinical staff.
  • Oversee medication management and medicines optimization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation during clinical pharmacy activities.
  • Assist in developing department standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with service users.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Achieve, maintain, and develop pharmacy technical expertise.
  • Monitor pharmacy charging for patients to maximize revenue.
  • Deputize for the Pharmacy Manager when necessary.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 4 years post-registration clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Ability to inspire and lead others in healthcare delivery.
  • Demonstrable credibility with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to build working partnerships with consultants within the organization’s values.

The successful Pharmacist will enjoy a competitive salary of £48,000 – £50,000 per annum for this permanent full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm).
