Overview

You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service, lead the clinical team, maintain high standards of care, and support residents to live with dignity, comfort, and purpose.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day support to the nursing and care team.
  • Ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care in line with CQC regulations.
  • Work with the Home Manager to maintain excellent standards of governance and compliance.
  • Act as a role model for best practice in nursing care, particularly around dementia support.
  • Support with staff development, supervision, and training.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse qualification (NMC Pin required).
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead Nurse, Deputy Manager, or similar senior nursing role within a nursing home setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance.
