A well-established care home in the Leyland area is currently seeking a Nurse Deputy Manager to join their dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering outstanding care, supporting a team, and driving high clinical standards.

About the Role

As Nurse Deputy Manager, you'll support the Home Manager in leading the day‑to‑day operations of a care home that provides both dementia and general nursing care. You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading clinical care and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing nursing and care staff
  • Supporting care planning and medication management
  • Acting as a positive role model and promoting a culture of respect, compassion, and dignity
Qualifications & Experience
  • NMC‑registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)
  • Experience in a senior nursing or deputy management role within a care setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

This is a full‑time, permanent position to work as Deputy Nurse Manager for 40 hours per week. The role includes 2 days leading on the floor from 8am‑8pm, and 2 supernumerary shorter days.
