A leading academic publisher is seeking an in-house Deputy Editor to oversee the preparation of their new journal. Your responsibilities will include managing submissions, engaging with medical communities, and ensuring high-quality content. The Lancet Surgery & Anaesthesiology will be the latest addition to The Lancet’s family of world‑renowned medical journals committed to publishing the best science for better lives. The team will handle high quality research, reviews, and commentaries to drive thought leadership across all aspects of surgery & anaesthesiology. They will build solid relationships with research communities to ensure we offer exciting, interesting and thought‑provoking content.
As an in‑house Deputy Editor you will assist the Editor‑in‑Chief in all aspects of the organisation and preparation of our online‑only hybrid journal. You will take ownership of submissions and peer review to ensure we publish high‑quality content and build international relationships with experts to disseminate and discuss practice‑changing results and policy from the field.
