Overview

Flexibility is the key to this role, which can be offered full or part‑time, or a combination of hours, including a term‑time only option. The position is based at Morgans School – The Dell Out of School Club, which provides breakfast, afterschool and holiday clubs for children aged 3‑12 years.

Responsibilities

• Full‑time (up to 36 hours per week) includes breakfast club shifts from 7.30 am to 9 am, afterschool club from 3.30 pm to 6 pm, and off‑site planning, preparation and shopping; a car driver is required for the full‑time role.
• Part‑time (16‑20 hours per week) includes afterschool club from 3 pm to 6 pm daily, plus planning and preparation.
• Deputise in running the club in the manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Early Years or NNEB or equivalent.
• Experienced early years practitioner, qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years or NNEB or equivalent, to work with our early years children.

Benefits

Salary range: between £19,000 and £26,000 per annum. Pay details: P.A. depending on experience. Start date: TBC. We offer a contract for 52 weeks per year with holiday club hours from 9 am to 5 pm during the holidays.

The Dell Out of School Club has been providing Out of School Care for children across the Hertford area for around 26 years. We are OFSTED registered and run two Out of School clubs: The Dell@Abel Smith School and the Dell Morgans School. On our busiest day we can have 60 children attending breakfast and afterschool clubs. In addition to term‑time hours we also run a holiday club open to children both within and outside of our host schools.
