A children's services organization in Exeter is seeking a passionate Deputy Manager to ensure the effective running of a children's home. Responsibilities include supporting the staff team and ensuring quality care for children with complex needs. The role will be based in one of our childrens homes in Exeter, Devon.

Starting rate at £20.66 per hour
Rising to £22.85 per hour
Overnight is £27.55 per hour rising to £30.47
Saturday is £30.99 per hour rising to £34.28
Sunday and bank holidays are £41.32 per hour raising to £45.70
Working as Deputy Manager Deputies work alongside the Registered Managers to ensure effective running of the home to include oversight and quality assurance.
They will support the staff team helping to embed a high-performance culture by helping your team to continually develop their skills so that they can achieve the best outcomes for our children and their families. The Deputy will also lead on delegated areas of running the Home and represent the Registered Manager as required.
Through reflective supervision meetings with your team, youll champion their personal and professional growth.
Alongside your role as a people manager, you will also be responsible for the allocation and oversight of care within the home, ensuring quality standards are maintained, as well as supporting the team to identify areas for improvement and decide when to take protective action.
