Deputy Service Manager – Residential Service (Taunton)

Deputy Service Managers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We're currently searching for a fantastic Deputy Service Manager to join us in leading our residential service in Taunton. This 11 bedroom service has a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of colleagues to help people gain more independence in their daily lives.
  • Develop and implement person‑centred support plans.
  • Conduct care needs assessments and complete medication competencies and audits.
  • Recruit, induct and supervise new colleagues; complete supervisions/appraisals.
  • Attend multi‑disciplinary meetings and complete reports.
  • Assist the Registered Manager with day‑to‑day management of the service.
  • Participate in the on‑call rota (subject to change).
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in a care management role.
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
