We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in the daily running of the home and to help lead our team with professionalism, empathy, and a shared commitment to excellence. Lansbury provides both Residential Care and Residential Dementia Care through our award-winning Reconnect model. As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting both areas, ensuring high standards of care and a positive experience for residents and staff alike.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Lead, supervise, and support the care team to deliver outstanding care.
  • Participate in assessments and care reviews, acting as a key contact for residents, families, and staff.
  • Foster strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Promote a positive, resident-focused culture in line with our "Good" CQC rating.
Qualifications
  • Brings proven experience in a leadership role within a care environment.
  • Holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or is actively working towards it (minimum Level 3 in Adult Care or Health and Social Care required).
  • Exhibits strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively.
  • Naturally fosters a positive and supportive team culture, putting others at ease and promoting collaboration.
  • Demonstrates solid knowledge of medication management, EMAR systems, and care planning.
