A children's residential care organization is seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee operations at their facility in Pudsey. Candidates should have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and a minimum of 2 years’ experience. The role involves leading a team of support workers and ensuring high standards of care for young people with mental health needs. This position offers competitive salary, including weekend enhancements and sleep-in pay.

Location: Pudsey, LS28
Salary: £16 per hour + Time & 1/3 for Weekends + £70 per sleep. Take £33,280 + £8,400 = £41,680 inclusive of sleeps
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: Mental Health, age 10 to 17 on Admission
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Equivalent
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 Years within a Children’s Residential, ideally EBD or Mental Health

As Deputy Manager, you must lead and manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager. You will support Residential Support Workers (RSWs) and Seniors/Team Leaders to be ambitious for every child and help them achieve their potential. You will ensure the home maintains its high standard of care, resources, and opportunities in line with the home's Statement of Purpose.
