About the Deputy Manager Role

You will work within a 4‑bed children's home that offers a warm, therapeutic and consistent environment for young people with emotional and behavioural needs. The team work hard to create a safe space where children can thrive - and that starts with building a fantastic staff team.

Your Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Registered Manager to help lead the home, support staff, and ensure the best outcomes for the children in our care. You'll be hands‑on in the daily running of the home, as well as playing a key role in development, compliance, and quality.

What We're Looking For
  • Willingness to work a shift pattern of Long Days and Sleep‑Ins in the role with occasional office hours.
  • Experience working in a residential children's home
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable
  • A positive, resilient and child‑centred approach
  • Confidence in leading shifts, supporting staff and contributing to decision‑making
