A leading healthcare company in Thatcham is seeking a Deputy Lead Social Worker to manage cases and support a team in safeguarding efforts. The role requires a Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England, along with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. You will be a crucial part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring care and support for individuals with mental health conditions. A competitive salary of £48,000 - £50,000 and comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will manage and support a caseload of up with mental health conditions. You will be responsible for assessments, CPA reports, Mental Health Tribunals, Managers Hearings and will be requested to supervise junior staff members.
As a deputy manager of the team, you will lead and promote adult safeguarding and will empower recovery to encourage service users to engage in their care plans and achieve their goals.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported regionally and will have access to a variety of training and online courses to support your career development and growth.
Location: Thornford Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 8ET
You will work at Thornford Park which is a combination of medium secure and low secure units and rehabilitation flats. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation.
You will work alongside the multidisciplinary to provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/ complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder. Service users may have histories of offending and/or may have failed in previous placements.
