Overview

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will ensure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond professional standards and regulatory requirements. You will provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervise/coach colleagues to deliver empathetic, person-centred care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nursing support and advice to residents and staff.
  • Maintain resident care in the Home Manager's absence.
  • Supervise and coach colleagues to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
  • Ensure compliance with National Standards, professional codes, and safeguarding protocols.
Qualifications
  • Valid NMC Pin.
  • Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice.
  • Experience in person-centred care planning within a care home.
  • Strong mentoring, time-management, and record-keeping abilities.
  • Excellent communication with residents and colleagues, with kindness and consideration in all interactions.
