Overview

Stephen James Consulting is partnering with an established elderly care provider in their search for a Deputy Home Manager. This pivotal role will be accountable for supporting the management of a medium-sized residential and dementia care home based in Billingshurst, West Sussex. This welcoming home forms an integral part of the community, benefiting from generous living areas and excellent communal facilities. The care and support are delivered by a dedicated and passionate team of carers and support staff.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Home Manager in the development and evaluation of all aspects of service provision, ensuring that legislation, policies, procedures, and codes of practice are fully adhered to.
  • Assisting with the supervision and leadership of staff, enabling them to maximise their potential through mentoring, support, and example.
  • Helping to establish and maintain an atmosphere and practice of care that reflects the provider's values, centred on dignity, respect, and individualised care.
