A high-performing educational institution in the United Kingdom is seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to enhance school improvement priorities and oversee pastoral provisions. Ideal candidates will have proven leadership experience and a strong commitment to safeguarding. This role offers extensive professional development and the opportunity to shape the educational future of students while being part of an inclusive community that values aspirations and achievement.
We are looking for an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join the senior leadership team at Hazel Wood High School, part of Oak Learning Partnership. Working closely with the Headteacher and wider team, you will play a key role in shaping school improvement priorities, raising standards, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for every child.
This role is ideal for a proven leader who is ready to take on significant strategic responsibilities and drive whole‑school development in all areas of pastoral provision, including safeguarding, behaviour, attendance and student wellbeing. You’ll also be an integral part of the wider leadership network across our Trust, contributing to system leadership and benefiting from high‑quality professional development.
Hazel Wood is a truly inclusive and diverse community that fosters mutual respect, responsibility, and aspiration. Our highly motivated staff, in partnership with students, parents, and governors, work hard to ensure all students achieve their best outcomes academically and pastorally. By offering opportunities to excel, we aim to equip students to reach their full potential, fulfil their ambitions, and make a positive difference with pride and respect.
We would be happy to arrange a visit to the school, where we can discuss with you the importance of the school within the local community and how, by working with us, you can be part of the team that builds on the past, ensures performance in the present and prepares the students for their future successes.
We reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date of the advertisement, should we identify an appropriate candidate. Please contact 0161 797 6543 or enquiry@hazelwood.oaklp.co.uk to arrange a visit.
