Deputy Head of Healthcare – HMP Brixton

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Healthcare to join our healthcare team at HMP Brixton, a category C prison located in London. HMP Brixton is one of London’s oldest male prisons with a capacity of 798 inmates. You will support the Head of Healthcare with the daily smooth running of the Healthcare team and cover for the Head in their absence. Interviews will take place on Monday 8th December.

Hours

Monday – Friday 08:00‑16:00 or 09:00‑17:00

Salary

This position is full‑time; annual salary up to £64 232 per annum depending on experience.

Main Duties
  • Provide outstanding evidence‑based care to patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on feedback so that patient engagement is at the centre of service delivery.
  • Provide day‑to‑day operational service delivery and data with integrity, meeting commissioner expectations in a timely manner.
  • Deliver non‑judgemental, compassionate care within the financial framework that is safe, high quality and in line with CQC requirements.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures and comply with statutory responsibilities while driving excellence.
