A local hospitality venue is seeking a dedicated individual for a senior role overseeing daily operations. You will work closely with the General Manager, managing the restaurant, bar, and bakery environments. The ideal candidate has experience in hospitality management and can lead effectively under pressure. Responsibilities include supporting operations, leading service standards, and maintaining high-quality guest experiences. Cafe Linea is a neighbourhood restaurant, bar and bakery set within an iconic 19th-century arcade on Duke of York Square. Inspired by European arcade cafés and bistros, we serve relaxed, produce-led menus from breakfast through to dinner and all those moments in between.
Alongside la carte dining, we offer pastries and patisserie from our on-site bakery, seasonal bouquets from our flower counter, and aperitifs on the terrace. Linea is a place for morning coffee, long lunches, late-afternoon glasses of wine, and candle-lit dinners.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who understands the day-to-day realities of a quality hospitality operation service, people, systems, standards and guest experience. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and founders, taking real ownership of daily operations and helping set the tone on the floor.
This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, leads calmly under pressure, and is ready to step into full General Manager responsibility when needed.
