Overview

Job Title: Deputy Clinical Manager
Location: Dover, Large Nursing Home
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Type: Permanent, Supernumerary Role

Responsibilities
  • Support the Clinical Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of dementia and mental health residents.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the clinical team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a point of contact for residents and their families, addressing any concerns or queries promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and appraisal of clinical staff.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) preferred; Registered General Nurse (RGN) with relevant experience considered.
  • Proven experience within dementia and mental health care.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work supernumerary, providing strategic and operational support.
