Deputy Residential Manager – Birmingham (Central)
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
Hours: Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm (flexibility required)
Meadows Care is seeking a passionate Deputy Residential Manager to support the Registered Manager in running our high-quality therapeutic children’s home. You’ll help lead a dedicated team, ensuring the care we provide meets Ofsted standards and truly supports the wellbeing of young people in our care.
What you’ll do:
Work alongside and guide staff to deliver exceptional care and support
Deputise for the Registered Manager during absence
Build positive relationships with young people, families, and professionals
Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and key records
Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Support staff supervision, training, and development
Handle reports, meetings, rotas, and day-to-day operations
What we’re looking for:
Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Experience in residential childcare
Commitment to therapeutic and child-centred care
