Job description

Department Manager 35 hours per week — Boundary Outlet - Grantham

We are currently recruiting for a Department Manager to head up the team in our Menswear Department, located within Boundary Outlet – Grantham. The role is available with an immediate start and will be responsible for the smooth running of the department. The team consists of 3: Manager + 2 part‑time sales assistants.

The position requires a clear focus on the customer and driving sales whilst delivering the highest standards of service from the minute the customer walks in to the minute they leave us. To succeed you must have previous retail experience at a supervisory level (preferably in fashion), excellent people skills, bags of energy and enthusiasm, be self‑motivated, and have a genuine interest in people and fashion. Most importantly, you must be capable of working on your own and using initiative.

Flexibility is essential, as you will be required to work additional days/hours to cover holidays and sickness. The role does require lone working; training will be provided.

Experience required
  • Previous supervisor/managerial experience within a fashion/sales environment
