A well-respected Sheet metal contractor is seeking a Delivery and Workshop Operative for their Thurmaston location. This hands-on role combines van driving with workshop duties, including loading and unloading materials and assisting with assembly work. Candidates should hold a Full UK Driving License and ideally possess a Counterbalance Forklift License. Qualifications

• Hold a Full UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Driving the company van to collect and deliver materials and components.
• Loading and unloading the van safely and efficiently.
• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Assisting with assembly work in the workshop.
• Carrying out stock takes and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Operating an insert machine (full training provided).
• Supporting the production team as required to meet deadlines.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
