Join our dynamic Pensions Data Solutions team at WTW. We help clients unlock the value in their data to achieve their wider strategic aims. As a Defined Benefits Data Specialist, you'll devise and deliver best in class data services, develop effective data strategies, and manage technical pension rectification projects.

The Role:

  • Design and tailor bulk data rectification approaches for GMP and other correction projects
  • Communicate complex technical issues to various internal and client audiences
  • Demonstrate sound judgement in balancing the need for accuracy and pragmatism in solutions
  • Guide a team to deliver bulk data rectifications including reviewing technical work to ensure delivery within quality standards, and on time and budget
  • Support and mentor junior team members to achieve their full potential

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Excellent understanding and experience of UK Defined Benefit pension calculations and processes, including bulk corrections
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills and ideally an interest in developing wider technology skills
  • Ability to think outside the box and deal with ambiguity within technical data projects
  • Experience in data and benefit auditing and various data cleansing approaches is advantageous
  • Ideally, experience and working knowledge of common UK pension administration systems
