A leading crypto and trading firm is seeking a DeFi Trader to develop and maintain trading algorithms across decentralized exchanges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DeFi trading strategies, programming capabilities, and a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field. Responsibilities include designing automated algorithms, conducting research for improved strategies, and collaborating with internal teams. As a DeFi Trader, you will be at the forefront of ideating, developing, and maintaining GSR’s trading algorithms across a spectrum of decentralized exchanges and underlying blockchains. This role can be based in London, Zug, or the United States, depending on the candidate’s preference and working eligibility.
You will leverage the firm’s world-class trading infrastructure, access to dozens of liquidity venues, and a strong internal DeFi team to build out DeFi strategies across liquidity provisioning, principal trading, and passive yield generation. You will bring a strong risk management mindset and the ability to identify, understand, and model the novel risks that exist within DeFi.
